Hi Jooyun,
You turn the socks off my putting them in the stand-by mode. They will eventually turn off after several hours. I don’t know why they have designed it that way, but that is what is supposed to happen. The light will keep blinking for hours but the batteries are off at that point already.
I am also happy to hear that you are experiencing your toes warming similarly to my experience. It is indeed hard to know if the socks work since they don’t get noticeably warm, but since my toes don’t get cold anymore, there must be something happening.
I am definitely keeping my socks, as it is such an improvement not having to take warming breaks on a cold day. I hope you like yours too.
]]>I have a question of that socks. I have asked this question to a store, but the store can’t explain me well. Even I contacted provider in New Zealand, still they can’t explain to me.
How I can turn the socks off?
Mine keeps flashing which is standby mode when I don’t use them after press the level 1,2, and 3.
Is there any way I can turn them off?
Plz give me some idea.
Thanx
Jooyun
]]>Moi Antti,
Yes, I am still using my Lenz socks whenever the temperature drops below zero. I love them and the batteries have lasted well and still function all day, no matter which setting I keep them on.
Regarding thickness, I would say they are a bit thinner than your regular ski socks, but thicker than regular socks. I am not sure how to describe the material, but basically the only special part are the heating elements, which are very flat and won’t make the sock almost any thicker. They are definitely very comfortable to wear and I can recommend them, if you can just justify the price. I have been happy with my purchase, even when the Bluetooth app is a joke.
Let us know how you like your socks, if you end up buying a pair. 🙂
