I haven’t actually tested it on my PS3, so cannot really comment on that. But even if it would improve the picture quality of old games, I think the cable is still way too expensive to be used at least exclusively on a previous generation console. Heck, it would be even more expensive than the console!

If anyone else reading my review has any experience on using it with older generation devices, please let us all know! Thank you.

You’re welcome. I hope you have a better experience than I did and perhaps on a regular Playstation 4 the difference is greater than on a Pro. I had high hopes for the cable and that is why it was so disappointing to see so little improvement. Please let us know about your experience once the cable arrives.

All being said, I still have the cable. I guess I am still hoping to start noticing more improvements over time…
